Daryl takes a practical and commercially focused approach, with an emphasis on identifying risks early and achieving outcomes that make commercial sense.

Daryl also practises in property law and conveyancing, assisting clients with residential property transactions, contract reviews, house and land packages, off-the-plan purchases, commercial and retail leasing, and other property-related matters.

His broader litigation and commercial experience includes contractual disputes, debt recovery, statutory demands, commercial disputes and settlement negotiations. He regularly advises clients on their legal position, litigation risk and available options with a focus on providing clear, straightforward and commercially sensible advice.

As Principal of Foresight Law Group, Daryl works closely with the firm's team across its building and construction, property and litigation practices, with a focus on simplifying complex legal issues and helping clients make informed decisions.

Outside of work, Daryl enjoys cooking, playing badminton and spending time with his two (2) dogs.

Kate also acts for landlords and tenants in commercial and retail leasing matters, assisting with lease reviews and negotiations, renewals, variations, registration and lease disputes. Her broader commercial experience includes business sale and purchase transactions, property and building disputes, letters of demand and statutory demands.

Before focusing on property law, Kate worked across legal, regulatory compliance and financial services roles, including commercial mortgage settlements and regulatory compliance. With more than 10 years of professional experience across the legal, compliance and financial services industries, Kate brings a practical, detail-focused and commercially minded approach to her work.

Originally from Shanghai, China, Kate moved to Sydney in 2018 to pursue her law degree at the University of Sydney and has since made Sydney her home.

Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time with her family, keeping up with her two high-energy Kelpies, and travelling in search of great food and good vibes.

Prior to practising in Australia, Navindi was admitted as a lawyer in Sri Lanka in 2015, where she acted as an instructing attorney for major financial institutions including HSBC and Commercial Bank of Ceylon. She also represented clients in trade mark litigation before the Commercial High Court of Sri Lanka. Navindi was subsequently admitted to practice in Victoria in 2020.

Before entering legal practice, Navindi worked as a research assistant at Western Sydney University and Griffith University, with a focus on intellectual property law. With more than six years of experience in the legal industry across Australia and Sri Lanka, she brings a broad perspective and practical approach to her work.

Navindi holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London, a Master of Laws from Monash University, and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Leo Cussen Centre for Law.

Originally from Sri Lanka, Navindi has lived in Melbourne and now calls Sydney home.
